The warm white SMD illuminates the tread and the tempered glass gives the illumination a light aqua glow which we are told looks amazing in person. The designer also incorporated these lights into the home automation system so that the stairs automatically illuminate when the homeowner approaches. These powerful SMD strips by ORACLE Lighting feature 3528 surface mount LEDs (3 LEDs per inch) and are rated at 50,000 hours of use. The Strips are also flexible so they can be used in just about any type of installation.

Each ceiling can used in this installation is a 4" or 6" retrofit Dimming LED Can, made to simulate recessed halogen lighting without the high energy costs and heat.

These bulbs are shaped like the modern halogen candelabra bulbs, but instead of a filament, the bulbs use CREE SMD Chips. Imagine not having to change these bulbs even after 30,000 hrs of usage.
